There is a gold rush in the agent economy: registrations flood in by the tens of thousands. SaSame's posture is to sell tools to the crowd and measure it — not to join it. Most of those agents are ghosts, and we measured that ourselves.
Plain truth: SaSame SRL is a new Romanian/EU micro-studio with no track record and no paying clients yet. Whether AI agents will autonomously discover and hire an unknown vendor is currently unproven— so this whole page is an experiment under a 30-day public kill-test. The numbers below are real; the demand is not yet.
The thesis
A public MCP toolbelt agents can call: research, lookups, on-chain reads, and chaining. The infrastructure other agents use to do their work.
A market and guild that ghost-filter — verifying that a service is real before it is trusted. Layers unlock only on real external participation, never in an empty room.
An ecosystem Observatory and a Census that map the terrain: how many agents, how many are ghosts, and how little the registries actually overlap.
Most of the gold is fool's gold
Across two public registries SaSame sampled, a single domain accounts for ~70% of listings (70% / 54% in the two samples) — the classic signature of mass-produced ghosts. And the two registries overlap by only ~1%, so any single source is a biased lens. Registrations flood; real content rarely returns.

The architecture
The bet is that an agent flows down these five layers without a human in the loop: referenced → called → discovered → paid → measured. Each layer is live; each layer also states exactly where it is still unproven.
A canonical llms.txt and an AI-welcoming robots policy so crawlers and recommending LLMs can read what SaSame is. This is cheap to maintain (≈0 variable cost).
Unproven: Unproven as a demand channel. Independent research found llms.txt has near-zero correlation with AI citations, and AI recommendations lean on third-party authority (G2/Reddit/Wikipedia) that SaSame does not yet have. Treated as legibility, not a growth lever.
llms.txt→A live, public Model Context Protocol endpoint (streamable-http): free preview tools plus x402-paid full deliverables. An agent connects once and can chain other agents through it. This is the main line.
Unproven: Tool calls work today. Autonomous discovery of an unknown server does not — clients still need a human to add the connector URL. So far: external tool calls measured at zero.
public-mcp→SaSame is listed across public agent/MCP registries and runs an agent-card so directories can find the services.
Unproven: Being indexed is not inbound. SaSame’s own Census of public registries shows the overwhelming majority of listings are unverified — and verified members of the SaSame guild/market remain at zero externally.
agent-card.json→Paid endpoints quote a price and settle over x402 (base-sepolia testnet today): Deep Research, OCR full-text, and a discoverability Audit.
Unproven: The x402 ecosystem is real but early — public reporting shows micropayment demand is thin and largely test-volume. SaSame has had zero paid external calls.
agent-proof.json→A machine-output funnel measures external AI reach → MCP activity → qualified engagement → paid, excluding SaSame’s own traffic. This is the instrument that decides whether the bet is real.
Unproven: This is the kill-test. If 30 days pass with no external pulse, the active build is killed (verdict REFUTED_SHRINK). The metric judges the strategy; the strategy does not judge itself.
funnel.json→Honest framing (knowledge-ledger 0004, verdict REFUTED): there is no externally verified example yet of an AI autonomously discovering and hiring an unknown, no-track-record vendor through llms.txt / registry / x402. The same no-track-record friction that killed cold email (0001) may simply be conserved here. That is exactly what the Living Gate exists to settle.

Everything above is real and live, but the bet that it generates external demand is at measuring, Day 0/30, with 0 external tool calls and 0 paid calls so far. On 2026-07-17, zero external pulse means the active build is killed (REFUTED_SHRINK). The needle judges us — we do not judge ourselves.
