Verified summary

Preserving prior work makes the current system auditable and prevents repeated reinvention, while lifecycle labels keep old ideas from being presented as active.

01

Purpose

History contains product experiments, research methods, architecture changes and commercial transitions that influenced the current Factory.

02

What changed, and why

SaSame's company identity has moved through several superseded models before arriving at the current one-Factory definition: an owner-curated consulting studio, a dental-practice vertical, a free pilot, several flat and tiered pricing experiments, a nine-business multichannel approach, a "Passport-first" identity centered on verification artifacts, an "Activity-First" strategy, and — most recently — a standalone "independent observatory and evidence layer" framing (the direct predecessor of today's identity).

Each transition is preserved, not deleted, because it explains a real constraint that was learned the hard way: narrow verticals (dental) didn't generalize, flat/tiered pricing without a clear unit of value didn't hold, and treating observation as a standalone product (rather than a station inside a larger production lifecycle) undersold what the system actually does. The current Factory identity, adopted 2026-07-16, folds the observation/evidence capability in as a permanent Layer-1 core asset rather than discarding it — it is still there, just correctly placed.

03

Boundary and limitations

History is evidence of what was attempted or published, not proof that the same capability is available today. None of the superseded pricing figures, verticals, or identity framings above describe a current offer — see Pricing for the live plan ladder.
